J.D. and Turk Sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," Win Christmas. Again

By Dustin Rowles | Videos | December 19, 2012 | Comments ()

Many of you may remember that last year, the best pop-culture moment of the Christmas holiday was Donald Faison and Zack Braff's "Baby It's Cold Outside" music video, which I believe was released on Christmas Day and basically won the entire Internet.

It was amazing.

This year, they're back. Daniel Carlson popped this fantastic ditty onto my FB wall: It's Braff and Faison -- who just got married this last week, and Braff was his best man -- doing a hilarious and kind of heart-warming version of "Somewhere Out There."

I only wish there was video.

Man, I wish I could hang out with those guys all the time.

Edit the title, you got the song title wrong

  • TheAggroCraig

Good stuff. Not quite "Guy Love", but good.

  • jackdow

"somewhere over the rainbow" from an american tail

  • Ok, either you mean "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from Wizard of Oz, or "Somewhere Out There" from An American Tail. I'm happy with Turk and J.D. doing either of these...or both...as a medley!

  • Ley

I really feel these two would be lost without each other.

Scrubs is hands down the show I go to when I'm feeling shitty. This made me unspeakably happy, Dustin-- and I needed a pick me up this morning so thanks for that.

  • Blake

Archer is my go to show, followed by Community then Scrubs.

You'd have to be dead inside not to at least smile at Turks air band audition in My Half Acre...

  • NateMan

I also recommend Raising Hope for the same reason. It's always, always good, and often heartwarming.

  • TherecanbeonlyoneAdmin

Why is Braff channelling Chad Kroeger?

  • Blake

"It’s Braff and Faison — who just got married this last week..."

Nicely done Dustin.... But can it really possibly be better then the Abed and Troy version?

  • tmurf5387

It was good but it wasnt even close to Abed and Troy

  • Bert_McGurt

I thought for a second there that he meant they married EACH OTHER.

  • TheAggroCraig

"Zack, do you take this Chocolate Bear..."

  • Wembley

That would have made the most sense...

  • SchmidtUltra

How can the world end this Friday when there is magic such as this?

  • Mrs. Julien

It's ending on a high note. Take THAT, TS Eliot!
