Last night’s episode of Lip Sync Battle featured the creator of the show — and really, the ultimate master of the medium, John Krasinski. He absolutely crushed it, in both performances. Anna Kendrick was great. In fact, during her second number, she was exceptional. But she brought out a celebrity ringer, in Jennifer Lopez (on a Jennifer Lopez number) and Kendrick wisely used her backside for extra votes.
But I don’t care what anyone else says: Krasinski’s rendition of that N’Sync song was the best performance on Lip Sync Battle so far, and he did it without props. This was pure Krasinski.
Here was the final battle between Krasinski’s amazing rendition of Tina Turner’s Proud Mary (complete with iconic Tina Turner dress) and Kendrick’s J. Lo song. They were both phenomenal.
Kendrick was amazing. Krasinski was better. HE DID THE MARIONETTE, PEOPLE.
