Here's the Obligatory Jimmy Kimmel Post-Oscar Movie Trailers

Jimmy Kimmel, as per tradition, put together several star-studded fake trailers for his Oscar post-show telecast, and this year, the trailers were parodies of YouTube videos. Honestly, they didn’t really work for me. I mean, seeing Kevin Spacey as a cat playing the piano has some novelty value, but not three-minutes worth. Likewise, if the JGL trailer has been, say, 45 seconds, instead of three minutes, it might have worked better.

The Captain Morgan ads in front of each of these videos are also insufferable (thankfully, you can fast-forward past them).

The only one I found amusing was like you said, Spacey as Keyboard Cat, only his initial imitation of it as watching him do that was amusing. Also, it's the only YouTube vid I was familiar with that they used.

  • Well most of those were terrible, but I liked the Hemsworths.

I'll be damned, JGL can be annoying and unwatchable. Kimmel almost deserves credit for pulling off the impossible, if it wasn't a crime against humanity deserving of a good waterboarding. How fucking dare he?!

  • BWeaves

Ah shit. I still can't tell the difference between Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel. Is one of them funny?

  • Jimmy Kimmel is in timeout for a while after his painfully unfunny anti-Twitter-snark PSA or whatever the hell that was before the Oscars.
