As Letterman’s exit from The Late Show grows ever closer, his interviews have become even more relaxed, more personable, and even more intimate, and when he’s got someone like Emma Stone with whom to play off of, it’s like six minutes of gold.

In this first clip, Stone and Dave casually talk about metaphysical experiences, ghosts, and the like, and Stone is such a pro at this: She doesn’t try to make a joke out the whole episode. She turns it into a delightful conversation.

And here, Stone informs Dave that her Magic in the Moonlight co-star Colin Firth really is a “nightmare,” despite everything you might otherwise assume about him.
