Can I have the Chewie Dog? I'd like to take him to the dog park and watch the retirees' reactions. :)

The imperial walker cameo is my favourite.

Calrissian, bring Darth Vader Dog to my shuttle, I am altering the deal.

/VWs: the Return of the Jedi of cars.

I just died. At my desk, at work. Now my boss is gonna have to call maintenance to haul my carcass out of here, and someone else is going to have to do my work. Because I literally died.

OhMyGODICan'tStandIT.

Holy awesomeness.

I was going to complain about the lack of a Corgi, but instead I'll just say "Teeheeheehee" and "Dawww! Such cute doggies."

Posted by: Groundloop at January 19, 2012 11:13 AM

I'd say each of the dogs is suppose to represent a major character or group of characters. Darth, C-3P0, Luke, Leia, Ewok, Chewbacca are obvious. So is the Bulldog a storm trooper and the Pug is R2-D2 (the pug doesn't bark)? And what is the Chiwawa? I'm thinking the black and white Collie(?) is Han.

Dogs are cute.

Apparently the canine-unemployment rate is very low.

I have work to do today dammit. Someone please pry me away from this link. I can't do it myself. I'm too weak.

Posted by: PaddyDog at January 19, 2012 11:32 AM

I'd say the Chihuahua is Yoda.

Posted by: Jay at January 19, 2012 11:45 AM

It's weird not all of the dogs seem to be costumed. Is the bulldog supposed to be Porkins?

Posted by: BarbadoSlim at January 19, 2012 11:50 AM

Pity. I knew a French Bulldog who was named Yoda. He not only looked like the old Jedi master, but he sounded like him too when he yawned.

I thought the Bulldog in the ad was Jabba the Hutt and the Chihuahua was his giggling "pet". I guess without the props its open to interpretation.

I was going to whine about the lack of Dachshunds but then the Wookie call? Perfect.. just awesomeness.

What do dogs and VW have to do with Star Wars?

Posted by: Sad Rockstar at January 19, 2012 1:14 PM

@Sad Rockstar:

I've died. I've simply died. That is all.

Calrissian, bring Darth Vader Dog to my shuttle, I am altering the deal.

BSlim, you haven't been around as much, and you've been missed.
