Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine in James Mangold’s Logan. And it’s going to be earth-shatteringly awesome. Just check out the first trailer.

The official synopsis is “In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.” But as you might have figured from that drool-inducing trailer, that young mutant is X-23, a girl who has powers very similar to Logan’s, and the same passion for ass-kicking.
