  • Noo

Late to the party but seriously how could you leave out Jamie the gay paramedic on Shortland Street?

  • Bones has always been my fav original Trek character and Urban is glorious in the new films.

  • Julia

Was anybody else introduced to Karl via Ghost Ship? Just me then? I'll show myself out...

  • ben

Wow he's been in a lot of stuff that I've seen that I didn't know he was in.

  • Sherry

Don't worry. Many of us have been keeping track.

  • Allijo

This should have been labeled a mindhole blower list.

  • I love this place.

  • annie

His eyebrow work in the Star Trek films alone deserve their own post.

  • Fabius_Maximus

I laughed out loud when I saw the Xena pic. He looks like a boy band reject.

  • Melissa

Ok, i feel dumb...I always though Keith Urban and Karl Urban were the same person.

Apparently, they aren't even related. Who knew?

  • Mrs. Julien

I get him mixed up with Adrian Pasdar. How is that even possible?

  • Jill

Well, I'm dumb, too. I've seen Karl Urban's name mentioned, thought he wasn't the singer, but could never put the name to a face. I do remember watching Red and wondering who that guy was. I was also sure he was Irish. Yeesh.

Does anyone know which film the header pic is from? If it already says it clearly somewhere in this post, remember, I'm dumb.

  • Sara_Tonin00

I can't decide if I love his angry eyebrows or pretty lips more. They complement each other so well.

  • Sherry

I am not choosing the "death is not an option" and instead choosing both. Because there is no choosing with the Urban.

  • BWeaves

    Angry eyebrows!

  • Ed Wagner

What about Vaco in "The Chronicles of Riddick"?

    Pretty Bad Assed

  • PDamian

Priest is and will remain without a doubt one of the dumbest films of this century ... but Urban was ferocious in it, and truly scary.

  • Horatio Postlethwaite

He's definitely under rated but I kind of like that because he gets to play great rolls instead of shit leads which is often where lead male actors end up, which is so sad to see, especially in ones who have great talent.

  • Theunis Stofberg

he was apparently in the short list for 007 before Daniel Craig got it. Still young enough to get it in a few years time when Craig is too older (he is too old now). He might be a Kiwi and the 007 franchise's dalliance with the antipodean countries as 007 have not been that good but I still think he will rock it. Has the look of someone that will shoot someone without any real change in facial expression just like Connery used to have.

  • Mrs. Julien

Craig is 45. That's too old? 50, I'll grant you, but I think Bond needs to be in his late 30s at least.

Also, I should very much like to find myself in close proximity to Daniel Craig whilst reclining (bunk, beach, bank robbery hostage situation, I'm not fussy) so my opinion is not to be trusted.

  • DeltaJuliet

Ditto for me. If Craig is too old at 45, hand him over to me because I'm pretty sure I can make him feel young again ;)

  • Urban looks so much like Dante Hicks in that header it makes me want to watch 'Clerks' again.

  • Sara_Tonin00

That's funny - my thought was "Karl Urban is playing Kevin Smith?"

  • koko temur

He has only one face - "pretty".

  • Ona Somday

Yes I am anal about these things but he actually did 4 rolls on zena; season 1 ep 19 as Mael, Cupid 2 episodes, Caesar to the end, and season 5 ep 16 as Kor.

  • Ben

You're anal about these things but still spelt Xena with a z?

  • Monica

    No necromonger?

  • Kim Stephens

That hair though. No, I'd still hit it with that hair.

  • TheOriginalMRod

    I love this guy.

  • Rochelle

That last picture is just ovary-baiting.

  • Sherry

Good point. I think I just got pregnant. Will have trouble explaining this one to the hubby...

  • Rochelle

Your husband should be honored to have a spontaneous Karl Urban baby.

  • Four Eyes

    So gonna use that term!

  • Daniel Valentin

Urban's WAY underrated as an action lead. I find him to have much more range and acting talent than the Stathams and Johnsons of the world, and he's got a quiet intensity to him. He ROCKED FACE in Dredd, and it saddens me that the movie did not the recognition it deserves.

  • Lindsey Gregory

Also, how the hell could you guys forget Smoldering and Indignant King of Rohan???? I mean...come on!

  • I think the "Horse Famous" entry above counts as this one?

  • Lindsey Gregory

Yeah I think they added that later...

  • Lindsey Gregory

Said it before and I'll say it again: Bones dressed as Eomer, 10/10 def. bang.

  • Glory

Is it wrong to point out that he was also Caesar in Xena?!
