Ten Additional Movie Taglines from Other Movies That Would be As Deliciously, Awesomely Inappropriate for the Yogi Bear Poster

People here and around the Internet have been having a very good time with the new tagline for the Yogi Bear movie, “Good things come in bears,” which is all the more amusing when transposed wit this movie poster:

And in the spirit of that awesomely inappropriate tagline, I thought we’d take a look at ten other options that the Yogi Bear marketing department could use once the first tagline is spent. Just replace the above tagline with one of these on the movie poster, and I think that you can get the same idea across.

And who doesn’t love a good double entendre?

10. “The bitch is back.” — Alien 3

9. “You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll hurl.” — Wayne’s World

8. “The longer you wait, the harder it gets.” — 40 Year Old Virgin

7. “Just because they serve you doesn’t mean they like you.” — Clerks

6. “Get a grip on yourself.” — Spanking the Monkey

5. “After a night they can’t remember comes a day they’ll never forget.” — Dude Where’s My Car?

4. “Just deux it!” — Hot Shots Part Deux

3. “This might hurt a little.” — Sicko

2. “Oh yes, there will be blood.” — Saw II

1. “Welcome to the suck.” — Jarhead

The fact that there's going to be a Yogi Bear movie, I think, is one of the signs of a forthcoming apocalypse.

The top 5 are inspired.

Especially when you imagine Dan Aykroyd cornholing Justin Timberlake.

"You don't have to believe... just beware." - Candyman

"The story of the strangest passion the world has ever known!" - Dracula (1931)

"Gaiety! Glory! Glamour!" - The Wizard of Oz

I don't understand why a Yogi Bear movie is so much more of a monstrosity/harbinger than any other cartoon movie. Sure it will probably stink with outdated pop culture references & safe fart jokes, but it's just another cartoon movie for kids. Who cares? At least Dan Aykroyd gets a paycheck.

"...and remember, the next scream you hear may be your own!" - The Birds

"The strangest story ever conceived by man." King Kong (1933)

"The Monster demands a Mate!" Bride of Frankenstein (1935)

"They're Dancing Cheek-to-Cheek Again!" Top Hat (1935)

""The Most Passionate Adventure of Them All!" Algiers (1938)

Wow! This is like shooting fish in a barrel.

"They're making memories tonight!" It's A Wonderful Life.

"Hunted by men...Sought by WOMEN!" The Third Man

"The story of a blonde who wanted to go places, and a brute who got her there - the hard way!" The Bad and the Beautiful.

"Crushed lips don't talk..." I Confess.

"The most UNUSUAL and INTIMATE journey into human emotions ever filmed!!!" Rear Window.

Anybody remember that movie Crazy People? The one with the tiny drunk gay and that fish lady? Where they were out of their goddam minds and working at an ad agency?

My favorite was when they came up for the tagline for The Freak - "It won't just scare you, it will fuck you up for life!"

Nobody?

Piss off, then...

"The perfect summer when the urge meets the surge!" Beach Party.

"They're young...they're in love...and they kill people." Bonnie and Clyde.

"No ordinary love story..." Romeo and Juliet (1968)

"Being the adventures of a young man whose principal interests are rape, ultra-violence and Beethoven." A Clockwork Orange.

"To avoid fainting, keep repeating 'It's only a movie...It's only a movie...'" The Last House On The Left (1972)

and last but not least:

"Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre" Schlock (1973)

And cue the tasteless jokes about Yogi having a BooBoo on his cock. Ew.

Ohhhh I remember Skitz.

I think "They're here..." from Poltergeist is appropriate especially if you say it like Carole Anne did.

I also remember Crazy People, Skitz. "Volvo: they're boxy, but they're good." I worked in advertising, and thought the movie was a documentary.

I also liked "Come... IN the Bahamas."

I came in Hawaii. North Dakota too. Not ashamed to say it either.
