You just can't handle the glamor, Dustin. Embrace the Juliette, for she is far more interesting than most other Hollywood actresses. Please, most other actresses couldn't handle one white trash role, let alone a career of them that act nothing like each other.

I met her once in my office and she was perfectly sweet, shy and down to earth. She got me free tickets to see her and the Pretenders. I think her movie image does her no justice.

Just a bizarre side note: a former roommate of mine spent a week with her, (Juliette was dating my roommate's brother at the time). My roommate said that she was very nice, always slept late in the day, and offered the family scrambled eggs at all hours of the day and night.

I love Juliette Lewis. I used to hate her, then one day I grew to appreciate her.
The best white trash role she played was opposite Uma Thurman in Hysterical Blindness on HBO. It took place in the 80s, and she was a too-young mom, hanging out in a NJ bar with 80s hair. And outfits. Awesome-sauce.
She was perfect for that role. She was what happened to every teenage girl in my town that I looked up to as a 12 year old. My WT role model.
