As the first (we hope one of many) season of Marvel’s Agent Carter came to an alternately exhilarating and poignant close, I realized just how quickly I’d fallen madly in love with the characters. Sure, Peggy had already been in the Captain America films, but I’d be lying if I said I’d paid much attention; I may have been distracted by uh, you know…

but, once we were immersed in her world, holy wow. After the finale, I immediately watch Justified, where another instantly beloved character had a bit of a moral crisis — and what do you know — another list was born. To clarify, let’s say “recent” means introduced within the past five years.
