Anna Faris Has a New Podcast and It's as Adorable as You'd Hope

Last week, Anna Faris launched the first episode of her new podcast “Anna Faris is Unqualified,” an advice show for the modern era (nope, sorry that’s the wrong podcast) where she, friend Sim Sarna and a celebrity guest chat for a while, then Skype with “callers” who seek advice from everyone’s favorite House Bunny.

If that sounds like a clump of precious wrapped in a layer of adorable, you’d be right.

The first guest was Allison Janney, Faris’s co-star on Mom, and they spend a good 20 minutes adoring each other, as I would in the presence of either. They also chatted about acting and its challenges, including the deceptively difficult fake laugh. (Please note: there is a bit of a blind item in there where Allison talks about how she’d fake laugh when “you know who” makes jokes, and dammit do I want to know who “you know who” is. Is it Lorre? I kind of want it to be Lorre.) Acting tip from an icon goddess: pretend like you’ve been punched in the stomach. It actually totally works.

Then came (no pun intended) the orgasms.

For both a very long time and not long enough, Janney and Faris gave us their best porn star orgasms. Janney’s range from totally hot and natural to a la Madeline Kahn in Young Frankenstein. Faris’s are just vowel sounds kazooed annoyingly and it’s kind of the best thing I’ve ever heard.

The advice portion itself was brief and while not particularly helpful, you’ll never want to call in to an advice line more in your life. It’s essentially just the panel complimenting the caller and telling them how wonderful they are and undeserving of Tinder Guy’s shit. It’s like the book He’s Just Not That Into You came to life and high fived you for being totally great.

PRATT WATCH: Yes, there was but one mention of his Prattness and it came when the trio discussed monogamy and Janney confirmed all our hopes, that no one loves anyone more or is as perfect for one another as Chris and Anna. Please secure a mop to clean up your melted ovaries.

The show is basically an early evening drink or four with your best friend, and also Allison Janney making orgasm sounds. Who wouldn’t call that a great time?
