It's Not DiGiorno, It's A Giant PR Mistake

Remember when I said that celebrities other than Nick Cannon should avoid Twitter during times of stress or outrage? I might have to expand that list to include businesses.

In the wake of the release of video footage showing Ray Rice beating his wife, several media outlets questioned why Rice’s wife Janay Palmer would choose to stay with him. Twitter responded with #WhyIStayed, and it’s by itself an important subject to address.

But why only talk about an incredibly difficult, systemic problem with several underlying causes and no clear solutions, when we could also talk about a corporation’s social media department that clearly has no idea how to do their job?

That’s right. No longer content to just make shitty pizza, DiGiorno has expanded into shitty tweets. Of all the evenings this pizza ruined last night, I’m glad DiGiorno’s was one of them.
