The Other 100 Greatest Movie Insults of All Time

In June 2010, we had the pleasure of debuting Harry Hanrahan’s video, “The 100 Greatest Movie Insults of All Time,” which would not only become our biggest post of 2010, but would launch the video toward what is now closing in on 5 million views and counting.

Today, we are debuting the follow-up to that video, “The Other 100 Greatest Movie Insults of All Time.” The video includes lots of quotes that didn’t make the cut the first time around, plus scads of omissions that were raised by commenters here and around the Internet.

It’s not as vicious as the first video, but it is more playful, and nearly as rife with profanity, so it’s not safe for work, unless your employers have a sense of humor, in which case, call them over before you watch.

Enjoy, you long streaks of paralyzed piss. You smell like a burger.

For a complete list of Harry Hanrahan’s videos, visit here.

thank you for that!

"You're a Neo Maxi Zoom Dweebie" sigh.
Well done!

Posted by: Odnon. at January 5, 2011 11:32 AM

Exceptional effort as always. Nic Cage Losing his Shit is the undisputed champion of You Tube in my opinion.

Random thought: Fans of the Horror genre - what's it like to be a dedicated fan of a genre that hasn't produced a single quality film in over thirty years?

Posted by: chuck knows where you live at January 5, 2011 11:40 AM

The Descent, The Ring, Trick R' Treat (or Dark Comedy, you decide), Shiver, I Can See You, Tale Of Two Sisters, Premonition (foreign version), Let The Right One In, The House Of The Devil, The Orphanage (Spanish film), etc....

I don't feel like scouring my netflix to find the many others I've enjoyed. There are lots.

It's open to debate weather all these films actually fit in to the horror genre.

Actually, no, it's not. They are horror to me. And I loved them. Fuck frozen shucked corn.

Posted by: Sam at January 5, 2011 12:08 PM

I LOVE that Ref quote. That movie is full of quality insults.

Posted by: MelBivDevoe at January 5, 2011 12:09 PM

@chuck

You clearly don't watch horror movies. I don't watch musicals, so I don't feel qualified to make blanket statements about the quality of films in that genre. They're just not for me. If they're the cup o' tea of somebody else, more power to them. Enjoy. Myself, or other commenter's posting lists of "quality" horror movies to disprove the position behind your question would be pointless. So what's your point?

Posted by: Groundloop at January 5, 2011 12:09 PM

I am satiated.

Posted by: admin at January 5, 2011 12:24 PM

And, Chuck, please refer to Pajiba's new motto.

Posted by: admin at January 5, 2011 12:25 PM

Bravo, hh. I always enjoy your work.

I love Steve Carell's delivery of his insult. Classic!!

Vazquez was the toughest dude on any of the Alien films.

Posted by: BarbadoSlim at January 5, 2011 12:56 PM

BSlim: you forgot Dillon (Charles Dutton) in Alien3. Is that as hard as you can bite, motherfucker!? 100% badass.

Don't feed the trolls

Posted by: THRILLHO at January 5, 2011 1:41 PM

Just so I have this straight, because I believe Scott Pilgrim is one of the worst pieces of shit ever filmed and that the horror genre is essentially a vehicle to separate teenage girls from their weekly allowances, I am a troll.

Interesting definition of troll.

Posted by: chuck knows where you live at January 5, 2011 2:17 PM

My fave are from Elf..

"You sit on a throne of lies!"

"You smell like beef and cheese."

Sorry. But it's just things I can say to my kids.

Posted by: wsapnin at January 5, 2011 4:07 PM

Chuck. A question and two statements.

1) What does Scott Pilgrim have to do with horror as a genre of film?

2) Since you're so dismissive of the horror genre, especially over the last 30 years, logic would dictate you don't watch horror movies. That doesn't make you a troll, it just makes you unqualified to judge.

3) If you hate the horror genre so much, yet continue to watch horror movies, knowing you're not going to like them, and take no pleasure from them in a "so bad it's good" way, that doesn't make you a troll either. It just makes you an idiot.

An idiot troll.

"whoever put that video 2geather..... BRAf*knVO *~! that took sum work*~! "

Okay....who let Xryztal22 in here? I thought there was a minimum IQ required for Pajibians...or at least a basic spelling test.

Really people, the name alone should've been the first red flag.

As you were.

Posted by: Amanda6 at January 5, 2011 10:07 PM

Ooh, I am saving this one for a monster crap session on the can.

Thanks H.H.

Posted by: L.O.V.E. at January 6, 2011 12:38 AM

Chuck, I know it must be upsetting that people do not like Gloria Estefan as much as you do but there's no need to get grumpy.

Posted by: Raven at January 6, 2011 1:00 AM

I've always thought "Neo Maxi Zoom Dweebie" was really stupid. It is a lame insult for maxi pads and a kids show.

Posted by: MRod at January 6, 2011 9:06 AM

When I read the headline:

First thought:

Buddy Ackerman (Swimming with Sharks) - You have no brain. My bathmat means more to me than you. If you were in my toilet I wouldn't bother flushing it.

If you have not seen this movie NETFLIX IT NOW.

I want to express my thanks to you just for rescuing me from this type of scenario. As a result of checking through the internet and coming across recommendations which were not productive, I was thinking my entire life was gone. Existing minus the solutions to the problems you've sorted out as a result of the website is a critical case, and those that might have in a negative way affected my entire career if I had not discovered your site. The mastery and kindness in controlling a lot of stuff was valuable. I don't know what I would have done if I had not come across such a step like this. I'm able to at this point look ahead to my future. Thanks a lot very much for your impressive and results-oriented guide. I will not think twice to refer the sites to any individual who ought to have support on this situation.
