To say it’s been a rough month might be the understatement of the century. In the course of March, millions of Americans have seen their day-to-day routines destroyed, lost their jobs, fallen ill, suffered from intense anxiety, loneliness, depression, and grief. Still, this d*mn month refused to end, stretching all the way to a merciless 31st day. Finally, the tyranny of March has ended, and Twitter users were feeling it. So began the meme.
Twitter overflowed with allusions to The Walking Dead, Titanic, Heathers, Marriage Story, and the Star Wars saga to express frustration over this merciless month.
