Who needs a light-hearted meme? How about a Twitter game where users spun the old “roses are red, violets are blue” poetry cliche into a fun way to weave together memes, allusions, and general silliness. Everything from The Simpsons to The Good Place, Phantom Thread and mother! got a little Twitter love yesterday.
One note: Twitter embeds put the pic above the caption. To read these jokes as intended, read the caption first, then the text on the image.
