2020 is a disaster movie written by a hack. So naturally what comes after global health crisis is murder hornets. These Asian hornets are notorious for slaughtering bee colonies and their venom can kill people too! And now they’ve reached the West Coast of America. But fear not, because a video has arisen that gives us hope for a hero against these big bad bugs: the Praying Mantis.

Some questioned the mantis’s powers.
Only reason that Praying Mantis in that video ya'll reposting killed that murder hornet is because he snuck up on him. Otherwise its not even a close fight pic.twitter.com/6IMPkdKASC

Others showed you don’t doubt the mantis.
The praying mantis is an innocuous, almost zen-like insect with a passive demeanour, but Researchers have found that these aggressive insects, known to eat small frogs & lizards, also kill & eat small birds. pic.twitter.com/OL3LIwR4A4
