On last week’s ep of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, the queens gagged when one of the season’s strongest Lipsyncs For Your Legacy was followed by a tie for the win. Did this mean two queens would be eliminated? Mama Ru surprised all the contestants by announcing some confusing news: no one would sashay away this week. And from here on out, All Star rules were suspended. But that wasn’t the half of it.

The befuddled contenders wandered back to the workroom only to be confronted by the queens they’d sent packing: Jasmine Masters, Farrah Moan, Gia Gunn, and Latrice Royale. Now, the return of eliminated queens has become such a standard part of the All Stars game that no one should have had their wig flipped over this. But how would their return factor into the new rules? A clip from the upcoming episode 6 reveals how this is going to work werk.

Lipsync LalapaRuza is going to be a night of Lipsync For Your Life showdowns! So, no one is safe. The eliminated queens can stay in the competition if they defeat one of the remaining queens in a lipsync to a RuPaul song (now available on iTunes!) Who they choose is up to them. Some might go the revenge route, and aim to take down the queen who took them out. If so, the line-up would look like this:

Latrice Royale vs. Monique Heart
Gia Gunn vs. Manila Luzon
Farrah Moan vs. Valentina
Jasmine Masters vs. Trinity The Tuck

However, while such a choice would be great for drama, it’d be bad strategy for most queens. After all, you get sent home because someone had a stellar lipsync performance. That’s stiff competition. So some queens may put the bitter feelings aside and aim for the weakest link. But who might that be in a field of All Stars?

What lipsync showdowns you’d like to see? Who do you want to see go home? Sound off in comments.
