The witches are back. The question is, are we willing to give Ryan Murphy yet ANOTHER chance to let us down for the sake of a stellar cast? Or will the witches burn in effigy because we’ve finally learned our lesson?
AHS:13 brings back some of our favorites from previous seasons and promises to tie many of their plot lines together. Promises, promises.
Jessica Lange will return to reprise all four of her roles. Evan Peters will play five of his previous characters. Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe, and Frances Conroy return as the witches along with John Carroll Lynch as Twisty the Clown.
The returning cast also includes Sarah Paulson, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Mat Fraser, Mena Suvari, Zach Villa, and Seth Gabel.
Orlando Jones (Evolution, American Gods) has been cast as Papa Legba. He replaces Lance Reddick, who passed away in 2023.

John Waters, the legendary director of filthy camp classics Pink Flamingos and Female Trouble, is also joining the cast this season along with a few other fresh faces. Ryan Murphy better not do John Waters wrong!

AHS:13 premieres on FX and will be available for streaming on Hulu beginning September 24th. So, you better get to watching if you want to be caught up. For what it’s worth, Coven was my favorite season of American Horror Story. So, deep sigh, I’ll probably be dusting off the ol’ broomstick for this season too.
