Buffy the Vampire Slayer ran from 1997 through to 2003. That was pretty much bang on exactly the time I would have been the right age demographic to get massively into it—and yet, for some reason, I never did. I dipped in and out of the odd episode here and there, and I was vaguely aware of some of the arcs—mostly because of how much everyone around me seemed to be into it—but it never really grabbed me. Now, I wonder, with the benefit of hindsight—and greater awareness of the kind of person showrunner Joss Whedon is (and was)—do people still feel the same way about the show? Even divorcing the character of the man behind it, does it still stand up? Even as a legacy show? Similarly to the time they revisited Firefly, here is Honest Trailers diving into one of the most iconic shows of the late ’90s/early 2000s.
