The Haunting of Hill House, Flanagan and his troupe are not reprising roles of the Crain family or continuing to explore Jackson’s dark ghost story. Instead, they’re offering a new world, new characters, and new horrors, this time inspired by Henry James’ 1898 novella The Turn of the Screw.

The Haunting of Bly Manor hits Netflix on October 9.
