That’s right. Minority leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, took time out of her busy fight-Trump schedule to stop by the workroom on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars to encourage the queens as they move into final phase of the competition.

It might seem silly. And surely conservatives will squawk about Pelosi appearing on a reality TV competition with no awareness of the irony. But there’s something undeniably inspiring that during Trump’s reign, LGBTQA+ youth can turn on TV and see a female politician happily engaging in queer culture. Pelosi makes the most of her moment on the show, reminding viewers of the importance of political action. Basically: get out there and vote in the midterms, y’all.

Below is the first ten minutes of episode seven. The queens are still reeling from BenDeLaCreme’s shocking decision. Then Pelosi pops by, then Morgan Michaels takes no time in making a new enemy of Trixie Mattel. (Don’t sweat it, Trixie. Morgan’s trying to trip you up because this challenge is yours for the crushing!)

Real Talk: If you were Morgan, how would you have cast this challenge?
