Much has been made of Jennifer Lawrence’s return to the big screen in No Hard Feelings. Much has been made of it on this very site in fact. In her recent review, Melanie Fischer called the movie a “fundamentally fun, fleeting kind of comedy,” and described J-Law as “particularly remarkable for her range.” I think that’s great.

But I am not here for a movie review. I am here to talk about how Jennifer Lawrence feels about Vanderpump Rules.

“What was your reaction to the last five minutes of the final Vanderpump Rules episode?” Andy Cohen asked Lawrence when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week.

“I mean, Ariana just killed it. She was so eloquent she said everything she needed to say,” she responded, referring to the final scene between Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval in the Vanderpump season finale. Regarding Raquel Leviss’s controversial confessional interview at the end of the last reunion episode, Lawrence said, “Sickening. Bizarre and weird.”

“Have you evolved on James?” Was Cohen’s next question, after reminding her that she once said that if she could fire anybody on the show, it would be DJ James Kennedy.

“Yeah, I mean, he cannot regulate his emotions, but that’s what I now love about him, ” she responded.

Her answer to whether Katie Maloney had the right to ask her ex-husband Tom Schwartz to not hook up with anyone in their friend group was “Yeah.”

“If Tom Sandoval were sitting in front of you right now, what would you say to him?” Cohen then asked, pulling a cardboard cutout of Sandoval from behind his chair, which elicited a deep sigh from Lawrence.

“I curse the day you were born,” Lawrence began without hesitation, “You have…bad skin. You have weirdly feminine — in a bad way — skin, and there’s no amount of spray tan that can ever change the texture of it.”

“And that was Jennifer’s moment with Tom,” Cohen concluded.

Melanie was right, she’s got great range.
