One is the wealthy and witty queen of mean in the town with Pep. The other is a world-renowned chef known for a fiery personality and barbed tongue. Now, Riverdale’s Madelaine Petsch and MasterChef’s Gordon Ramsay have joined forces for a cross-promotional bit of madness that seems born of my binge-watching list. (What’s next? Steven Universe crashes into Deadly Women?)
On the set of Master Chef, Ramsay and Petsch face off in a culinary challenge. He has homecourt advantage (and years of professional experience), but she got to pick the ingredients both would use. And Petsch hit Ramsay right in the weak spot by going vegan.
Both made a name for themselves with easily-enraged, insult-slinging characters. But this video is totally adorable. Ramsay’s flustered by kelp noodles, and the knife drawer being full of just more veg. Petsch picked a dish she’s never made before, and Ramsay literally sets her recipe card on fire! Then there’s much shenanigans and drama, and finally a winner!
It’s too cute.
To celebrate my billionth view on @YouTube and tonight's all new #MasterChef, I invited #Riverdale's @madelainepetsch for a little cook-off ! Have a watch: https://t.co/n4g51CZJpi pic.twitter.com/ZZEMuGdEfT— Gordon Ramsay (@GordonRamsay) June 6, 2018
