BBC’s brought The Celebrity Traitors back with 21 celebrities locked in a Scottish castle, because apparently we weren’t emotionally traumatized enough in 2025. The internet is already placing bets on their gladiators with Michael Sheen as the leading favorite to win with +350 odds (22.2%), but here’s where it gets spicy: Romesh Ranganathan is already the leading pick to actually be a Traitor with 28.6% odds. The cast is stacked with people we actually care about, which means the chaos potential is absolutely astronomical.

For those unfamiliar: some contestants are secretly chosen as “Traitors” to sabotage the group while the “Faithfuls” have no idea who they are. They compete in challenges, earn money, vote people out, and try to identify the saboteurs. It’s psychological warfare disguised as a game show, and it’s absolutely addictive. Reddit is losing its mind with speculation—fans are literally begging producers to make Joe Wilkinson a Traitor “just to imagine the chaos.”

Bella Ramsey is in the top three favorites to win, but also has high Traitor likelihood, which means Twitter is completely torn on which direction she’s headed. Richard E. Grant is No. 2 favorite, while Miranda Hart and James Blunt are tied for fourth. Alan Carr already joked that Miranda “might murder herself” because she’s so clumsy—which tells you everything you need to know about the vibe this season.

By the time the season wraps, someone will swear they called it from day one, someone else will claim it was rigged, and a third person will just be mad their favorite got voted out. Mark your calendars—The Celebrity Traitors is shaping up to be the most entertaining trainwreck of the season. With a cast this big and this prone to drama, chaos is guaranteed. What couldn’t go wrong? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. And we cannot wait.
