All Of Your Faves Will Die In Season 8 Of 'Game Of Thrones' According To This Algorithm And The Other Seven Seasons

Remember when our favorite fandoms didn’t revolve around whether or not our favorites would make it through the next installment? Me neither! Between Game of Thrones and the Marvel universe, it seems that survival for pretty much everyone is precarious at best, with the potential for devastation around every corner. Game of Thrones is definitely the guiltiest of this, so much so that one particularly dedicated nerd has created a complex algorithm to discover the odds that fan favorites have for surviving season 8.

Boston based data scientist Taylor Larkin analyzed 2,000 ASOIAF characters and broke down their data — age, gender, house alignment, status, and the number of dead relatives — through automated machine learning, projecting how likely they are to make it through the long winter. His findings broke down as follows:

Daenerys Targaryen - 83.77% chance of death Jaime Lannister - 72.91% chance of death Tyrion Lannister - 70.76% chance of death Bran Stark - 66.02% chance of death Cersei Lannister - 60.39% chance of death Jon Snow - 58.99% chance of death Euron Greyjoy - 54.95% chance of death Sansa Stark - 50.28% chance of death Arya Stark - 49.04% chance of death Gendry - 39.87% chance of death

Most of these deaths have a pretty high probability of hurting me (except for Euron because fuck that guy) because like most of you, I have invested years into this goddamn show. But whatever.
