This 'Star Wars' Videogame Trailer is Better Than Most of the Movies

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it’s only a trailer and that’s one hell of a false equivalency orgy of a headline.

BUT.

But, just watch it:

That’s for an expansion to a game called Star Wars: The Old Republic. The expansion is called Knights of the Eternal Throne.

Watch that trailer again. Maybe the beauty is inherent in the form; maybe the power comes from the almost wordless brevity.

Whatever the case that is a potent Star Wars story being told right there. Original trilogy aside, this trumps them all. ‘But the false equiv’—YEP!

That lightsaber battle? That’s up there with the best ones ever filmed.
