The Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition are CGI imbued abominations released in the late 90s to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the One True Star Wars Trilogy. These versions of Star Wars were meddled with to add in extraneous creatures, scenes, vehicles, and needless eyelids.

I hate the Special Editions. Jabba looks like a sassy turd, no one needs CGI rocks, and the extra characters cartooning in out of nowhere piss me off.

YouTube user Marcelo Zuniga, who only posts Star Wars clips, decided to do a side-by-side comparison of the One True Trilogy and the Special Edition Trilogy. These are those videos.
