Reddit Asks the Question: ‘What Is an Unappreciated or Forgotten Song From the ‘90s?'

More often than not, whenever you encounter any sort of thread or roundup of ‘forgotten’ media from bygone decades, the list generally consists of things that barely live up to that criteria. It’ll be something like: ‘Check out THIS forgotten popcorn gem from the ’90s!’, and it’ll be The Fifth Element. Yeah, well done, lost to the mists of that time that was until you resurrected it.

It’s that general trend that really made this AskReddit thread stand out for me. It asked, ‘What is an unappreciated or forgotten song from the ’90s?’, and I have to say: I genuinely do not know, or remember, about 90 percent of the answers that were given in the thread. You can check out the full thread here, but below are some legitimately obscure (at least to me!) highlights (not Alanis, she’s in the header pic to illustrate what kind of answers are usually given in threads like this):
