What Happens When Dustin Isn't On Podjiba?

Answer: pretty much the same thing, but on accident.

See, what had happened was that Dustin made a totally reasonable request for Monday (our normal recording day) off, due to the fact that it was a holiday, and anyway sometimes he has other things going on in his life! Then Tori and I decided that we would, as a joke, record a short minisode, mostly to make fun of Dustin. But once we got into the session, we fell into all sorts of the same traps, including:

— Accidentally discussing a show for an extended period pre-show that we reference but you don’t get to hear! (In this case, it was the new season of Stranger Things)

- Talking about some new television, like Hulu’s Letterkenny spinoff Shoresy and Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi, two very similar shows in that they both … are named after the lead of the show? Both have young protege sidekicks? Both heavily involve long handheld weapons?

- Tori gets mad when we make a shocking realization about the Dustin-esque nature of her relationship to a show!

- We still ended up recording for an hour!

Incidentally, I think this now means each of us has missed one episode if my count is correct, so we’re even again. But don’t worry, Dustin will almost certainly be back next week.
