The Fiscal First Quarter Categorization Challenge is here!
Now in its third iteration (I think?), the FFQCC is our internal Podjiba competition/discussion where we collectively find the one show to reign supreme in … whatever category we’ve decided to rate.
As mentioned previously on the podcast, this year we have selected 32 shows that Dustin hasn’t seen in order to find the one true show that he will have the honor of watching sometime later this year (much like I am very slowly making my way through The Umbrella Academy season one. Which reminds me, no The Umbrella Academy this week, as we had a lot of other TV to cover, sorry).
This week’s podcast ends with the first round of the 2024 FFQCC — if you just want to see the bracket and results, it’s a little further down in the post.
But before we got to all that, a ton of new television in the past week for us to cover! We dug into Shogun (on FX), The Regime (on HBO), and Elsbeth (on CBS), celebrated the return of a new season of Survivor (and also the fact that Dustin is finally into the current Australian season, GET INTO IT), and at least two out of three Podjibans are still watching The Traitors and The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live!
Whew, that’s a lot. Okay, here comes the FFQCC bracket:
Podjiba! The only television podcast that will absolutely force Dustin to watch a show he doesn’t want to (if the results end up working out that way) can be found everywhere podcasts are available, including below.
