Before we get into the rest of this week’s Podjiba, an important note: we do discuss the first episode of Survivor: Australia V The World (I swear that’s the way they write it, with the V), although at this point three episodes are out and I’ve seen them all (no spoilers, but it’s been very fun!).
If you’re in the United States (or at least outside of Australia), you might be wondering how it’s possible to watch such a wonderful show! And it certainly isn’t easy, but if You search around your own personal Tube, maybe for some key phrases like “Survivor” or “Australia” or “The World,” you just might find some useful results.
Anyway, it’s highly entertaining and worth your time if you enjoy that sort of thing. As for the rest of this week’s episode…
The big new show, naturally, is Noah Hawley’s Alien: Earth on FX/Hulu, the rare show that all three of your hosts sampled (and we might even keep going)! Dustin also kept us informed on the ending of a couple new shows that he’s finished: Smoke on AppleTV+ and Butterfly on Prime Video, and Tori is caught up (and even passed us) on Twisted Metal!
But the real news, of course, is that Dustin has watched Glass Heart, and he’s in! This is a true victory both for me personally, and for people everywhere who want Dustin to watch more Japanese or Korean dramas (okay, so me and Tori).
