Dustin Doesn't Recognize Aristotle Athari ('Hacks,' 'A Man In Full,' 'Survivor,' And More On Podjiba)!

While all of us watched the two-episode return of Hacks, somehow Dustin failed to recognize Aristotle Athari as Lewis, Ava’s new John Oliver-esque (in that he’s a British comedian/TV host) boss. I mean, how can you not recognize that handsome face up there?

To give Dustin some credit, it was slightly jarring to hear a pretty solid (at least, to my untrained ears) British accent coming from him. But that’s no excuse! He should still be on SNL! JUSTICE FOR ARISTOTLE!

Elsewhere in the podcast, Dustin gave us his thoughts on the new Netflix limited series A Man In Full (he was not a fan), and we talked about some of the live Netflix offerings from the Netflix is a Joke festival - specifically, John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA, and The Roast of Tom Brady. All that before the opening of the show!

We also continued our look at The Jinx and I finally completed my watch of The Umbrella Academy season one (it was good, although it’s questionable if I continue), but of course, we had to spend a substantial amount of the show on last week’s crazy, meltdown-fueled episode of Survivor, because while the gameplay might not be sophisticated (like the food at Applebee’s), it is certainly chaotic (like the atmosphere at Applebee’s).

(Full disclosure: I’ve never been to Applebee’s. Is it good?)
