For this FYC we’re counting the 1,2,3 punch of Joshua Jackson, Phillipa Soo, and Sean Teale as one sexy entity. Why? Because we should. Because I’ve been telling you all season how hot these three have made network primetime. I mean, I guess you could vote for them individually. They are considerably attractive on their own merits. But together they could pull off the win this year.
Let’s start with Phillipa Soo. She came to international attention as one of the original cast members of Hamilton. Since she left the cast, she’s been featured in a few series and movies, but Doctor Odyssey is her first main role. And she’s killing it as the Lisa-Simpson-esque rule-follower, Nurse Avery. You gotta love a woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it. Yes, I’m talking about Avery initiating the threesome that may or may not have led to a pregnancy (we’re on the hook until March when the show comes back from hiatus.)
She’s also a flawless beauty. You can’t blame Tristan and Doctor Max for fighting over her attention.
Nurse Tristan, played by Sean Teale (Who Is Erin Carter?) is a very well-manicured hot guy. You know he’s got a 12-step skin routine. And it pays off! He’s also got loads of charisma and confidence. He needs it to pull off this black and white striped swim outfit. On most other actors it would look ridiculous.
He also pulls off this kerchief and tank top without looking too much like a musical theater pirate.
I’m not even going to try to hard-sell you on Joshua Jackson’s part of this threesome. Pajiba has a long history of loving Jackson and mourning his career death. Consider him resurrected! The man is still fine. Perhaps finer than ever.
When good Pajibans go to heaven this is who is waiting at the pearly gates.
As I said though, it’s really the three of them together that are the sexiest. Whether it’s on the beach, on the deck, or in the med clinic, these three have an undeniable, playful chemistry that’s more like Desperate Housewives than it is like Ryan Murphy’s usual shows.
