Hugh Grant Allegedly Only Man Brave Enough To Rebuff Luann de Lesseps' Advances

Quite frankly, we’ve let former Countess and Real Housewives of New York alum Luann de Lesseps’ madcap flirtatiousness go unchecked for too long. Ever since she got divorced from one of the original Bravo Toms, then got arrested for being drunk and disorderly in Palm Beach, then started touring the country as a “Cabaret singer,” she’s been drunk on another thing: power. Lest we forget when she went on Watch What Happens Live earlier this year alongside Joe Bradley of Southern Hospitality (a terrible Southern Charm spinoff that hardly bears mentioning outside of this anecdote), who was dating Danielle Olivera of Summer House at the time, and apparently convinced him to ditch Danielle and meet her back at her place on the Upper East Side for an “after party,” thus leading to the demise of his relationship with Danielle, who later went on WWHL herself and claimed Luann and Joe “hooked up.”

Luann famously flirts with anyone in possession of a Y chromosome. She managed to bag some guy in Washington Square Park just by saying, “Bonjour.”

When she sets her sights on a guy, she usually gets him, and she claims that’s just what happened fifteen years ago in the Hamptons, when she intentionally collided with Hugh Grant at a restaurant, then offered to buy him a shot in apology. One thing led to another, and they started “heavily” making out (allegedly.)

But it seems the Countess has finally met her match in Grant, because he doesn’t remember it that way.

“Steady on,” Grant tweeted in response to the story. “I do remember meeting a charming RHNY in a restaurant, but I’d like to stress it was about 15 years ago. I don’t recall shots or kissing but her memory might be better than mine.”

Honestly, when it comes to making out, I trust Luann’s memory implicitly. She’s an equal-opportunity kisser, and she loves to kiss and tell. Is there anyone she can’t pull?
