Some people may have been worried that giving Deadpool his own movie would end badly. Perhaps these people pointed to the utter devastation wrought upon fans at the unholy abomination Wolverine: Origins tried to pass off as our favorite mercenary. Some people may have even been doubtful that Ryan Reynolds would be able to undo what that rancid excuse for a movie did to Deadpool.
