The hip hopera/Broadway sensation/history lesson Hamilton has been scoring scads of headlines. So let’s dive in:

First up, big news for Hamilton’s stars. They original cast, who helped develop the show from its early readings, has settled with producers to get a share of the profits. No one else was in the room where it happened, so details on the deal’s figures are unknown. But this is means the cast, which includes breakout stars like Daveed Diggs, Renée Elise Goldsberry and Christopher Jackson, will get a cut of the profits that come in not only from their Broadway run (which grosses about $1.5 million weekly in ticket sales) but also from regional productions of the show. (Variety)

For a full-rundown on who is profiting from Hamilton and how, check out this thorough and thoughtful piece from THR.

Did you wait for it wait for it when it came to ordering the Hamiltome Hamilton: The Revolution? Too bad. The behind-the-scenes look at Broadway’s boundary breaking show sold out on Amazon in under a week. But they’ll make it right for you. A third printing, which will unleash 210,000 more copies, is coming soon. (EW)

The success of Hamilton has renewed love of “the ten dollar founding father” to the point where Alexander Hamilton will not be pulled from the $10 bill to make American money more inclusive. Instead, a historical woman will bump Andrew Jackson from the $20. (CNN)

Thinking about tomorrow, Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast are giving back in a really incredible way. Before a special matinee performance, they gave over their stage to a talented crew of high school students who performed their own history-inspired pieces. According to NBC, these young scrappy and hungry artists did not throw away their shot:

The Today Show went behind the scenes with Hamilton’s Aaron Burr, Leslie Odom Jr. Be warned: dude’s so charming, you’ll be helpless.

There’s some “The Worst Burr” news in the above vid: Odom has announced he’ll leave the show when his contract is up this summer. I’m sorry. As recompense, here’s some bonus vids:

Kristy Puchko lives in perpetual fear that she’ll miss out on the original cast live performance New York City.
