HBO May Have Dropped A New Jon Snow Clue, May Be F*cking With Us

Is Jon Snow dead? It’s a matter of debate dividing Game of Thrones fans since season five’s finale. But those in team “Jon Lives” have new cause to get smug and celebrate. Or else HBO is trolling the lot of us for continued coverage in their off season.

You see, there’s a sale page on HBO’s online store called ‘Honour The Fallen: The Memoriam Collection.’ There you’ll find cuddly plush dolls of long gone direwolves, Lady and Grey Wind, alongside cosplay items for Eddard Stark, Unsullied armor and Funko Pop figures of Robb Stark, Khal Drogo, Ygritte and more. But no Jon Snow. His figure (pictured up top) is on sale, but not included in this collection. So, is HBO saying Jon’s not really dead?

Rather than assuming this is a co-incidence or a mistake, I’d wager it’s instead the kind of clever PR move HBO pulls off to get us talking about a show that has little other reason to earn headlines until season six. Tracking Kit Harrington’s trips to Belfast drives traffic as does speculation pieces about the length of his hair. So, leaving his merch off this list is a smart move for HBO, whether or not it’s a spoiler for season six.
