Happy Death Day shook up the slasher genre with an anti-hero whose time-loop tragedy made for bloody good fun. Now, director Christopher Landon is back with another high-concept horror-comedy, Freaky. It’s basically Freaky Friday as a body-swap slasher film.

Check out Blumhouse’s trailer for Freaky below:

The setting is familiar: a college populated by pretty co-eds ripe for slaughter. The slasher (Vince Vaughn) is a broad-shouldered man in a mask, who wields a knife with homicidal relish. But what happens when a weird twist of fate throws him in the body of a wallflower (Kathryn Newton), then pitches her into his sketchy form? Murder Barbie mayhem and Scoobies-style hijinks with some giddy gore! Need we say more?

Freaky opens in theaters on Friday, November 13, 2020.
