Here Are the Nominations For the 2026 Oscars!

The 98th Academy Award nominations are here!

Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman woke up bright and early to deliver the news, and it was a morning of a couple of surprises but mostly as expected. The big nominees of the year are, as predicted, Frankenstein, One Battle After Another, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, and Sinners. There was also a lot of love for F1The Secret Agent, and Bugonia. Kate Hudson’s Neil Diamond tribute act biopic Song Sung Blue earned her a Best Actress nomination over some tough competition, and the iconic Delroy Lindo was maybe the most welcome surprise of the morning, landing a long overdue Best Supporting Actor nomination for Sinners. Perhaps the funniest nom was Diane Warren landing yet another Best Original Song nomination, this one for… a documentary about Diane Warren. We live in a Christopher Guest move.

2025 was a very strong year and a lot of harsh cuts were made, but this seems to be a pretty good slate, fingers crossed. A lot of big races are still up in the air, although I think Paul Thomas Anderson and One Battle After Another can safely make space on their shelves for the Best Picture wins.
