This is going to be a short but sweet one, folks.
Today Jordan Peele shared the first official glimpse of his next horror film via official poster:
Damn, that is an amazing title.
And look at that cast. Are you kidding me? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
No plot details? Sure, but I don’t even care what it’s actually about at this point.
Considering Peele’s previous work, I fully expect it to be a 10-minute short film about three friends on a road trip, finding obvious setups for other horror movies and refusing to engage in any of them, leading to the title.
“Hey, there are a bunch of people standing in the middle of a field with a weird cloud over them…”
“My girlfriend wants me to go with her to her parents’ place. I’ll be the only Black guy there… Except for like, the help.”
“There’s an opening in this big corporate law firm…”
“There’s this Scandinavian spring equinox celebr—”
“There is this white couple who REALLY want to hang out with us, but they seem kind of wild and the guy is invisible…”
“Somebody is knocking on the-“
“N. O. P. E. NOPENOPENOPE.”
The most fittingly titled horror movie ever arrives in theaters July 22, 2022 (1 year and counting!).
