Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, and Jenny Slate all have thrilling new projects coming your way, as do some of our other favorite celebs. Titles like Black is King, Respect, and The Sunlit Night look promising. The others…well take a look for yourselves with our trailer round-up.

Co-created by Cate Blanchett, Stateless is a limited drama series based on a true story about those trapped in an immigration detention center in the Australian outback. The series promises to be about four people whose lives intersect here, but the first trailer centers on a white woman played by Yvonne Strahovski. Coming to Netflix on July 8.

For Little Voice, J.J. Abrams teams with Sara Bareilles and Jessie Nelson, the award-winning team behind the global hit musical Waitress. This musical series offers original songs along with a coming-of-age tale of love, rejection, and family drama. Coming to Apple+ on July 10.

Jenny Slate and Zach Galifianakis team up for The Sunlit Night, a quirky comedy set the farthest reaches of Arctic Norway. Coming to theaters, digital, and On Demand on July 17.

Following the jaw-dropping spectacle of Lemonade and Homecoming, Black Is King is Beyoncé’s next visual album, which—according to the press release—“reimagines the lessons of The Lion King for today’s young kings and queens in search of their own crowns.” Coming to Disney+ on July 31.

Also soon to hit Disney+ is the latest attempt for a Muppets TV series. Muppets Unscripted will offer six episodes featuring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and the gang in an “unscripted” series. How does that work with Muppets? Take a look. Coming to Disney+ on July 31.

Want to watch a movie about Gerard Butler trying to save his family from the end of the world? Then Greenland is just what you’ve wished for. Coming to theaters on August 14.

And finally, here is the official teaser for the Jennifer Hudson-fronted Aretha Franklin biopic Respect, the feature directorial debut of acclaimed Broadway helmer, Liesl Tommy. Coming to theaters on December 30.
