The nominations keep rolling in! Critics guilds are going gaga over Lupita Nyong’o’s Us double-act. The Costume Designers Guild gave us the tightest race of 2020. And the Golden Globes revealed that apparently none of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association saw movies by female filmmakers this year. Now, it’s time for the Screen Actors Guild to weigh in on the best performances of the year.

Nyong’o gains momentum. Critic-favored Best Actor Antonio Banderas (Pain and Glory) got a snub, while Christian Bale got a nod for Ford v. Ferrari. Scarlett Johansson scored nominations for Marriage Story and Jojo Rabbit. It’s astonishing that Little Women got snubbed across the board! Meanwhile, in the TV contests Fleabag’s Hot Priest (Andrew Scott) could be the Best Actor to beat. Tough times, The Kominsky Method.
