Twitter Reacts To News Winona Ryder And Keanu Reeves Are Married

Francis Ford Coppola is most revered for helming The Godfather, The Godfather: Part II, and Apocalypse Now. But if we’re being honest, your real favorite of his works is Bram Stroker’s Dracula. It dripped in style and blood. It gave us an uncomfortable crush on Gary Oldman as a hot vampire dandy. And apparently, it gave us the secret marriage of Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves.

When promoting their upcoming rom-com, Destination Wedding, Ryder dropped the bombshell that has children of the ’90s howling with envy and delight. In the movie, Ryder and Reeves played fiances Mina Murray and Jonathan Harker, who are wedded in a moody sequence. She told EW of the 1992 film shoot, on Valentine’s Day:

“We actually got married in Dracula. No, I swear to god I think we’re married in real life. In that scene, Francis [Ford Coppola] used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master and he did the whole thing. So I think we’re married.”

Reeves response was perfection: “Oh my gosh, we’re married.”

And all of the above made Twitter go wild.
