The Tres Amigas are now The Dos Amigas amidst Real Housewives of Orange County feuds aplenty. Tamra Judge has been dumped from the "comedy" tour by her cast mates Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson. The latter amigas announced a new tour this week, "Shannon & Vicki Live" with special guest host Doug Budin.
Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Forgive me if Mr. Budin is a big get in some circles, but not this one. "Tres Amigas," like the Amigas or not, at least had good branding on its side. "Shannon & Vicki Live hosted by Doug Budin" just doesn't have the same ring to it.
So, what happened? Well, you can mostly trace it all back to former OC Housewife Teddi Mellencamp, Gunvalson's sworn enemy, who just so happens to host a moderately successful Bravo podcast (in Bravo podcast terms, that is) with Judge. Judge and Mellencamp started "Two Ts In A Pod" before Judge's return to the show, and that return was part of what sparked the success of "Tres Amigas." Rock, meet hard place.
After BravoCon it became clear that Gunvalson and Mellencamp were most definitely not going to "squash the beef," and while Judge said she'd be having words with Mellencamp, it seems that might have been too little too late.
And then, to make matters worse, Judge kinda sorta didn't take Beador's side when it was discovered that her toxic ex is in a relationship with another former OC Housewife, and they might be returning to the show as a couple.
Judge announced her tour with Mellencamp (and a much more impressive lineup of guests, sorry, Doug) earlier in December (the first death knell, looking back), and then announced an appearance in Salt Lake City on the same day her former amigas announced their tour, officially drawing the line in the sand.
Most Housewives would have stopped there, but Judge is not most Housewives. Instead, she tweeted: "I felt like I just took the biggest dump of my life. So refreshed. So relieved," in response to a fan's question about the situation. She then reposted Gunvalson's reposted story in which a fan bashed her for siding with Mellencamp, and wrote, "My friend, my soulmate, my sister, my ass."
Oh and by the way, all of this is happening right before Judge appears in the much anticipated season 2 of Traitors premieres Friday on Peacock because she's an evil genius. Never did I think I would be rooting for Tamra Judge, but here we are.
