Longtime fans of Hamilton creator and Moana lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda will know that in addition to having an awesome life and a beautiful family and the best Twitter account anyone could imagine, he also has an adorable dog, Tobillo. According to legend* (AKA Lin), she first wandered up to them on a beach in the Dominican Republic and started nibbling on his wife Vanessa’s ankles (which is where she got her name, the Spanish word for ankle), and she’s been an integral part of the family ever since.
