Rebel Wilson Calls Out Sacha Baron Cohen as an 'A**hole'

Rebel Wilson is writing her memoir, and she’s naming names. On Instagram, she referred to a previously unidentified ‘a**hole’ who was allegedly threatening her with legal action to try and block the release of her book.

She said that she once worked with a ‘massive a**hole’ who would be named in the book, which is set for release on April 2nd. Wait no longer because she just posted an Instagram story naming him, claiming that he’s trying to silence her with his lawyers. Admit it, you’re not that shocked to hear it’s Sacha Baron Cohen.

Wilson worked with Cohen on the 2016 film Grimsby, and this isn’t the first time she’s talked about the horrors of working with this guy. Speaking on a radio show in 2014, Wilson suggested that Baron Cohen had pressured her to ‘go naked’ in the film and that he tried to get her to stick her finger up his rectum for a scene.

In 2017, she tweeted that ‘a male star, in a position of power asked me to go into a room with him and then asked me repeatedly to stick my finger up his ass. All whilst his male ‘friends’ tried to film the incident on their iPhones and laughed. I repeatedly said no and eventually got out of the room.’ She added that she’d gotten her agent and lawyer to make a complaint to the studio, and then she was ‘threatened by one of the star’s representatives to be nice and support the male star. I refused.’ Wilson said she’s told ‘hundreds of people in the industry the story’ to warn them off this person. She does not name Sacha Baron Cohen but the description is near-identical to the story she shared in 2014.
