Following last week’s SCOTUS decision to side with a Colorado website designer who didn’t want to make gay wedding websites, Michael Imperioli of Sopranos and White Lotus fame, took to Instagram with his thoughts.

“I’ve decided to forbid bigots and homophobes from watching The Sopranos, The White Lotus, Goodfellas or any movie or tv show I’ve been in,” he wrote in the caption of the post, a photograph of the website designer under the headline about the decision. “Thank you Supreme Court for allowing me to discriminate and exclude those who I don’t agree with and am opposed to. USA! USA!”

Honestly, a great comeback. How did no one think of it sooner?

Imperioli’s indignation comes with the wave of wacky recent Supreme Court decisions, like this one about businesses discriminating based on sexual orientation, and the overturning of affirmative action, the cancellation of the cancellation of student debt, and, oh yeah, striking down abortion rights. Everything is, basically, all sorts of fucked up. Thankfully, Imperioli agrees.

“Hate and ignorance is not a legitimate point of view,” the actor went on in comments on his post. “It’s called dehumanization,” he said in a second comment, and then, “America is becoming dumber by the minute.”

The commenters who weren’t complete and total trolls were quick to point out that, in the photo of the Colorado web designer, she stands in front of wall signs that read “stay humble, work hard, be kind,” and “create freely.” I’m just gonna leave those there because the jokes write themselves.

I’ll conclude with these wise words from a commenter:

“Nothing brings me more joy than knowing Michael Imperioli has good morals.”
