Lily Allen and David Harbour Allegedly ‘Living Separate Lives’

This week in Love Is a Lie News: Lily Allen and David Harbour might be separated.

“Lily and David have barely been together for the past three months and have been living separate lives,” a source told The Sun. The last time they were seen together in public was at the Chanel and W magazine dinner in New York in September. Earlier that month was their third wedding anniversary, which Lily celebrated by posting that famous photo of her chic-as-hell wedding dress on Instagram.

But the suspicion started when fans noticed that Allen had unfollowed Harbour since that post, although he still follows her.

September was also the end of Allen’s three-month run in the play The Pillowman on the West End of London. Sources say that David was spotted at only one performance of the show in July. It was that role that landed her the title of Glamour magazine’s “Theatre Actor of the Year” in their Women of the Year Awards.

Professionally, she’s having a great year, and Harbour isn’t exactly swimming in free time either, so maybe it’s just a ships passing in the night phase?

Then there’s the kids. Allen has two daughters from a previous marriage, Ethel and Marnie, and Harbour has previously said that “making that kind of a commitment” to being a father figure for them was “a huge thing” and that parenting made him feel “a little bit more like an adult.”

But if they truly are divorcing, the biggest casualty would be the whimsical wonderland that is the Brooklyn townhouse they share, which was featured in Architectural Digest in February.

The interior design was mostly Allen’s vision, Harbour explained. “I’m a suburban boy from Westchester, so I’m accustomed to a more middle-of-the-road aesthetic. But I love that my wife has her own vision and isn’t afraid of taking risks,” he said.

Let’s hope she gets the house.
