Kelly Clarkson Doesn’t Know What’s Happening

In the recent press tour for her new album Chemistry, Kelly Clarkson has inadvertently revealed that she doesn’t know a whole lot about…a lot

First, she went on the Las Culturistas podcast, where host Matt Rogers reminded her that she’d had Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix on her daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, before they broke up.

“They came to your show to make cocktails,” Rogers said.

Clarkson remembered that she knew who they were because she’d gone to one of Lisa Vanderpump’s Los Angeles restaurants. “My friends gave me the down-low on the whole thing,” she claimed.

“Can you believe?” Rogers asked, Clarkson looking back at him incredulously.

“Wait, is that the one where they’re not together?” she asked.

“Yes he cheated on her with one of the cast mates,” Rogers confirmed.

“With one of the cast mates?!” Clarkson cried.

“Yes!” both hosts implored.

“And it was like, on TV?” she begged.

“Oh, honey,” Rogers responded. “So you really are, like, off the grid when you’re off the grid.”

She then went on Watch What Happens Live, where a fan phoned in to ask about her feelings regarding record executive Clive Davis’s memoir, The Soundtrack of My Life, in which he claimed that Clarkson had to be forced to record the song ‘Since U Been Gone,’ and didn’t want to include it on the album Breakaway.

“Wait, he has a memoir with stories about me?” she asked.

“He does,” Cohen confirmed.

“Are you serious?” she questioned. “Well they’re talking about me aren’t they!”

She was later asked if she could name an American Idol winner from the last five years. A few tense moments of thinking and gesticulating later, it became clear that she doesn’t watch the show. Which is fair because who does?

The one thing she did know, however, was the chorus to former Bravo star Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s song, ‘Tardy for the Party.’ Maybe that will be her next Kellyoke track. A girl can dream.
