Jodie Turner-Smith is Named in a Very Disturbing Lawsuit

Actress Jodie Turner-Smith is accused in a new lawsuit of knowingly funding a drug trafficking operation run by her brother. The case, which named her and her sibling Richard Anthony Smith, was filed in Los Angeles this week by three Jane Does. They accused Smith of abuse that left them psychologically and physically injured, pressuring them into taking drugs and having sex against their will. One Jane Doe said that Sith “referred to her as his white slave.”

Turner-Smith is named throughout the suit as having funded her brother’s affairs. He is alleged to have said to the women, “I used to take care of her, now she takes care of me. She pays all my bills.” She’s accused of having brought her brother the “Audi that was used to transport packages to USPS and allegedly contained narcotics transported across state lines.” When asked if Turner-Smith know about the operation, the second Jane Doe said, “she knew” and that she was regularly seen using cocaine “and helped pay for a new supply of narcotics.”

Richard Smith is accused of running his drugs business from an apartment paid for by his sister. The suit claims that he kept narcotics, firearms, and other weapons around the home. He is also accused of having forced the three women into group sex upon threat of violence.

Turner-Smith is currently starring in The Agency and was most recently seen in the film Tron: Ares and the Taylor Swift music video for “Opalite.” She did not respond to calls for comment from The New York Post, but her rep did tell TMZ that the case was “a fictional lawsuit filed by someone who has been harassing Jodie while hiding behind the name Jane Doe. The claims are not true.”
